Audi S3 – Stage 1 Remap

This Audi S3 came in for a custom NVM Stage 1 map, but underwent a full health check prior to mapping. NVM carry out a 45 point check and diagnostics, as no two cars are the same and sometimes low oil, leaking gasket etc can play a huge part on the outcome of tuning. After the base run, NVM found massive timing pull and misfires on the standard map, so after speaking to the owner, they discovered it was running on Sainsburys fuel!!! So a set of Iridium plugs were fitted and the sub 95 ron fuel was drained out of the tank and lines. Fresh Tesco 99 momentum and clearing of adaptations…

With the tank drained, we were one step closer for mapping!

Fresh set of Iridium plugs fitted, as small as they may look these play a big part in power!

The difference is like night and day, +10hp and +15nm throughout the complete rev range. Proof of what super unleaded fuel can do on a stock map!

Stock power: 279bhp and 356nm.

After NVM Stage 1 mapping: 324bhp and 467nm. Overall gains = +45bhp and +111nm!!
