Tuning Stages
Different tuning stages are available depending on the vehicle and any supporting modifications.
Stage 1
Designed for completely standard vehicles. The ECU is recalibrated to safely increase power and torque without requiring hardware upgrades.
Typical gains for the MK7 Golf GTD increase power from 184 BHP to around 220 BHP, with torque increasing to around 430–440 Nm.
Stage 2
Intended for vehicles fitted with supporting modifications such as upgraded intake or exhaust components.
A Stage 2 MK7 GTD can typically produce around 230–235 BHP with torque figures reaching approximately 460 Nm.
