BMW M5 E39 – Tarox Brake Upgrade

This BMW M5 E39 came into NVM HQ for a Tarox all-round brake upgrade.

The stock brake system for this V8 really struggles to stop you with the power and weight combined.

The Tarox kit consists of 8pot front calipers with 350mm F2000 vented discs and a 328mm rear setup. Strada pads make for the best fast road experience.

F2000 discs are the ideal solution for those who alternate the use of the car on the road with serious sessions on the track. The curved grooves on the braking surface deglaze the pads and allow the disc to run cooler.
