If you look at the stock power graph you will see the plateu above 6250rpm.

The ecu does this to reduce overall boost and timing where the backpressure sensor deems it needs. So when tuning with the stock Cat and GPF its important to calibrate boost and timing so the sensors dont deem it dangerous on spool up or pre shift.
