BMW 435D – Stage 1 with Upgrades

This BMW 435d has been tuned elsewhere so the owner was curious to see what it made. From factory they make 313bhp and 630nm.. XYZ tuning- 330bhp and 646 Nm. Not much of a gain and EGT’s running sky high with almost 2.5bar of boost running through it!!! Time to give it a full BMW original reflash and start again we think. Fitting: CSF intercooler and Pipercross panel filter. Reducing charge temps and increasing intake flow is key to making gains on this twin turbo diesel. Already gains 15bhp and 15nm with these two mods. Vlog in link below!!

With appropriate custom Stage 1 tuning we achieved: 385 Bhp and 775 Nm.

Session complete with +72bhp and +145nm!!
